Seasickness / illness
  • Not everyone feels seasick, but for those that do try not to worry, it generally passes in the first 24hrs. Simple things like staying hydrated and eating regularly will help. Your Onboarding Pack will include information about your onboard health and fitness.
How fit do i need to be?
Sailing requires a certain level of physical fitness and stamina. You will be expected to participate in various tasks such as hoisting sails, steering, anchoring, and docking. You will also have the opportunity to explore different destinations on foot, which may involve a short hike. Therefore, we recommend that you have a moderate degree of fitness, mobility and health before joining our expeditions.

If you are not sure about your fitness level, don’t worry. You can always improve your fitness in the months leading up to your departure by following a simple exercise routine and eating a balanced diet. We will also provide you with guidance and support along the way to help you prepare for your adventure.
