Our adapted expedition yachts are perfect for both gruelling weather conditions or low wind, with the maneuverability to go where larger boats can not.
Crew may be surprised by the power and size of a Clipper 68 when compared to smaller cruising yachts. The sails are larger and heavier, the winches handle more load, and since there is no headsail furling, all sail change evolutions are conducted by the crew. This is sailing purity at its best.

The Clipper 68’s are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and long voyages. They have a sturdy hull, a deep keel, and a large sail area that allow them to navigate in various wind speeds and directions.

The Clipper 68s are fitted with an ample galley and comfortable team seating area where you can relax, enjoy spending time with your fellow explorers or enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee before heading on watch.
sailing purity
Away with the furling sails and auto pilot, the Clipper 68 is the definition of sailing purity. Hoisting sails, trimming sheets and helming will give you a sense of accomplishment and adventure, as you learn the skills and techniques of traditional sailing.

Clipper 68 yachts are equipped with the safety equipment needed for the voyage including top of the range Spinlock Vito DeckVest life jackets specially designed for our yachts (including personal AIS beacons).
technical clothing
All participants are equiped with Musto technical wet weather clothing including BR2 jacket and salopettes, providing protection against the elements. Participants may bring their own kit if preferred.
home comforts
Spacious galleys with below deck top of the range heating. Bunks equipped with a privacy screen, reading light, and private stowage area for personal items. USB charge points are also available.
